We work hard to offer reliable, tracked worldwide shipping for our Italian gourmet food and gifts. On this page you’ll find everything you need: delivery options and times, charges and free-shipping thresholds (EU from €150, UK from £129), Nominated Day availability, Access Point pickup, order cut-offs, tracking, customs & duties, and packaging guidance.
We partner with trusted couriers and continually monitor performance so your hamper arrives on time and in perfect condition. Packaging is thoughtful and sustainable—recyclable outer boxes, minimal plastic, and a reusable Caravella gift bag in eligible hampers; temperature-sensitive items are protected as needed. Where We Deliver
We offer tracked courier delivery across Europe and to most countries worldwide. Where possible, we provide multiple courier options for the same destination, so at checkout you can choose your preferred carrier and see the corresponding shipping rate and delivery option. Available services may vary by destination and parcel contents — the exact options are always shown at checkout.
European Union (EU) — Tracked Delivery (All 27 countries)

Europe (Non-EU) — Tracked Delivery

We ship to the majority of countries worldwide with tracked international couriers.
Currently excluded: United States (USA) and Russia.

If your destination does not appear at checkout, it means we can’t ship there yet. Please contact us and we’ll advise the best available option.
Tracking Your Order
As soon as your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a dispatch confirmation email with your tracking information. Your tracking link will also be available in your account under My Account → Order History, where you can click “Track Order” to view the full tracking updates.
Please, make sure you enter the correct email address at checkout — your tracking number and all important order updates (confirmation, dispatch, delivery notifications) will be sent to that email.
Our Delivery Partners (EU & International)
We ship with trusted, tracked couriers. Depending on your destination and the service selected at checkout, your order may be delivered by UPS, BRT–DPD, DHL, FedEx, SDA, or Poste Italiane (and their local last-mile partners). Carrier availability can vary by country and parcel contents, and the exact options will always be displayed at checkout.
We only select carriers that provide full, detailed end-to-end tracking, so every customer can follow their parcel from the moment the order has been dispatched through each tracking milestone until delivery.
Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Delivery)
International deliveries may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs fees set by the destination country. Where possible, we aim to display and include applicable charges at checkout; however, additional local duties or taxes may still be charged by customs authorities and are outside of Caravella Fine Food’s control. These charges must be paid by the recipient in order to receive the goods.
What shipping covers
For international exports, the shipping charge covers packaging, handling and delivery only. It does not guarantee that customs duties or local taxes are included unless explicitly shown at checkout.

Restrictions & exclusions
Not all items can be shipped internationally to every country. Certain destinations may restrict or exclude products such as alcohol or other controlled/regulated items. Please check product descriptions and the available checkout options for your country; if an item cannot be shipped, it will not be available for selection.

Multiple Deliveries (Multiple Addresses)
Would you like to send gifts to multiple addresses - either within the same country or across different countries? We can help organise multiple deliveries for the same order request.

Nominated Day Delivery (Choose Your Delivery Date)
Nominated Day Delivery means you can select a preferred weekday delivery date at checkout, so your gift arrives when it’s most convenient for you or the recipient (ideal for birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions).

Availability: offered where supported by the carrier and destination.

No additional charge: there is no extra fee for choosing a Nominated Day—Standard or Express rates apply, depending on the service selected.

Where you’ll see it: this option is available for all gifts and food hampers and will be shown on the product page (when applicable) . Simply enter your desired delivery date in the dedicated “Nominated Day Delivery date” field before adding your product to cart.

Cut-off: orders placed by 13:00 CET (Mon–Fri) have the best chance of the earliest eligible date.

Returns & Refunds

What’s your returns policy for food?
Unopened, non-perishable items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Perishable or personalised items are not eligible unless faulty.

Item damaged or incorrect?
Photograph the parcel and contact us within 48 hours—we’ll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.

How do I start a return?
Visit /returns and submit your order number, or write to support@caravellafinefood.com and attach item photos (if damaged).

How do I track my order?

From your account: My Account → Orders → Track. You’ll see the courier name (e.g., UPS/DPD/DHL) and a live tracking link.

From email/SMS: your Shipping Confirmation includes the tracking number and a direct link to the courier portal.

No account? Use our Track My Order page with your order number + email. You can also create an account later using the same email to keep everything in one place.

I checked out as a guest—can I link that order to my account?
Yes. Create an account with the same email used at checkout; your recent orders should appear in My Orders. If you don’t see them, contact us with your order number and we’ll add it.

Privacy & security
We don’t store your full card details. Payments are processed securely by our payment partners. You can update preferences or request account deletion at any time.
Gifts, Hampers & Personalisation

Can I add a gift message or a branded card?
Absolutely. Add your message at checkout - our team prints it on a premium card.

Will items ever be substituted?
Very rarely. If an item is unavailable, we’ll replace it with an equal or higher-value product of similar style and provenance.

Is a Caravella gift bag included?
Most hampers include a reusable Caravella branded bag for elegant gifting and presentation (see product page for details).

Gift presentation (what’s included?)
Our gourmet hampers and food gifts come gift-ready: premium tissue, ribbon, and decorative elements are included as pictured on the product page. Most sets also include a reusable Caravella bag for elegant gifting.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes - but note that ribbon and decorative styling are already included with our hampers/food gifts. If you’d like extra wrap or a different style (e.g., a specific colour theme), add a note at checkout.

Will it look exactly like the photos?
We style parcels to match the look & feel shown. Minor variations (e.g., ribbon tone, seasonal greenery) may occur due to availability, but the overall premium presentation remains the same.

Do I need an account?
No, but we strongly recommend it for a faster checkout and better order management. Creating your personal account lets you view orders, save addresses, and (soon) manage subscriptions and preferences.

How will I receive delivery info if I don’t create an account?

We’ll email you the Order Confirmation right after purchase and a Shipping Confirmation with your tracking number and a direct courier link (UPS/DPD/DHL) as soon as your parcel is dispatched.

If you added a phone number, you may also receive courier SMS updates where available.

You can always track via our Track My Order page using your order number + email used at checkout.

Are your honeys raw/unpasteurised?
Yes—our single-origin Italian honeys are raw and unpasteurised (see each PDP for origin and tasting notes).

Sustainability & Packaging

What about your packaging overall?
We prioritise paper-based, recyclable packaging and keep plastics to a minimum. Many hampers include a reusable Caravella branded bag for elegant gifting and longer life at home. Please follow local recycling rules where you live.
Which materials do you use?
